An Essay?

Seorang newbie membuat essay, dan beginilah hasilnya. Ini pun sudah hasil revisi sana revisi sini (makasih banyak buat yang udah mau direpotin :) ).. Tapi, entah kenapa saya merasa masih belum benar-benar sreg sama essay ini. Buat kalian yang udah lebih master dibandingkan saya, boleh dong kasih koreksi untuk essay ini. Baik dari segi isi maupun grammar. Untuk perhatiannya, saya ucapkan terima kasih :)

When I was child, I always dreaming to study abroad because I know that many country outside Indonesia has a better system for study in their school. I often think I can’t evolve if I always stay in one place. I don’t know why, but I always feel like I can make that dream.

I know that my parents can’t send me to study abroad, because their payments will not enough to conform my requirement if I study abroad. That’s why when I was a third grade student in senior high school, I often searched in the internet about scholarship. What a pity it’s really difficult to find an undergraduate scholarship. So, I keep looked for it until I become a college student. And when I find Global Undergraduate scholarship, I know that I want and I will try this chance.

Now, I am a student of Nursing Faculty in Padjajaran University. Honestly, nursing is my alternate choice and I don’t really know what will I learn in this faculty. I only choose nursing because I’m interesting with health sector. But now, when I have been studied here, I become love the knowledge that I get from my lecture. Why? Because in this faculty I learn about medical knowledge, pharmacist knowledge, psychologist knowledge, and the best reason why I love nursing is because caring become our main focused. It is not just for a theory but also we practice them everyday. That is why it’s really comfortable to study in nursing faculty – because we take care of each other.

And not only that, we are also being motivated to be active in organization. my lecturer always said, “in real life we can not only rely on our smartness but we ought to retread our soft skill.”

If I get this scholarship, I want to take nursing as my focus because, consider that USA as a developed country, I think there will be a different between what I had learnt in Indonesia and what I will learn in USA. Besides, I want to absorb the good habit of a student college in USA. Such as, active in class, brave to take risk when they get a hard task, etc. So, when I come back to my country I can share my experience to my friends and I wish there will be a better change for them. And, even I never tell anybody, my biggest dream is to be a profesional nurse and dedicated myself to work in remote areas. I want to take care of many people that sometimes is forgotten by the government, increase their level of health, and maybe sometimes, if I have a free time, teach the kids in that region to reading and writing. And I know that to reach my dream I have to have so much knowledge. Not only the knowledge about science that I get in my university, but also the knowledge about life, especially how to face many people with a different manner.
